We built our house in the Neve-Israel neighborhood of Herzelia because we love this area with its almost village like feel and its closeness to Tel Aviv and the sea. Our street has very few cars passing (it’s a loop) we have a very big garden and some neighbors even keep horses and chicken. (Not for commercial purposes)
Coming here from "Lod" Tel Aviv airport, takes just 30 min, if not in rush hour. You can get to Tel Aviv in 15 minutes (when roads are free) and the beach is just 10 minutes away. There are a few good coffee shops and restaurants, 2 super markets, a cinema, a laundry, a bank and a natural foods shop... all within a walking distance. Many restaurants deliver. So you can order food from a menu in the internet and have it brought to you with no extra cost.
In the garden we have a pool, which is 12x5 meters (36X15 feet). One end of the pool is very deep and the other end (1.10 m) (3ft 7in), has comfortable steps. The pool is heated in cooler seasons. There are also many flower bushes, a deck and pool toys. The pool is shared between us and the guests. The guests can use the pool in the mornings from 9 am to 1 pm. Only the staying guests are welcome to the pool. The pool cannot be seen from the apartment. The guests are totally responsible for their family's safety.
The vacation apartment is entered from the east side of the house and it has its own gate and 2 small outdoor sitting areas. Our entrance is on the other side of the house and we live on the top floor, therefore we don't see the apartment at all.
The apartment has 2 large bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with the possibility of sleeping 3 in two separate beds. Two of the beds are collapsible (-yet stable), and can be put out of the way. This room also has a TV connected to our cable service. There is a 16-square meter (144 sq. feet) kitchen with a dining table for 6. The kitchen is equipped with a small fridge, 2 electric cook tops, a microwave and a toaster oven. It has all the necessary dishes for preparing and serving a meal for six people. There's coffee, tea, sugar, oil and milk for the start. Outside the kitchen, in the garden, there is a sitting area, with table, chairs and a parasol.
The bathroom is large and new (like the rest of the house). It's got 2 sinks, many drawers and a shower booth.
The apartment is fully air conditioned in summer, and floor heated in winter, with independent control for each room. Every room has a ceiling fan too. All the windows have mosquito nets.
You will be given sheets and towels, and an extra pool towel each.
Our daughters have grown up, but if you like I can find you some toys that I have kept. There is also a selection of books. You can feel free to pick fruit in the garden. We also have two dogs, but they are kept off the area of the apartment.
The apartment is not intended for partying and making noise at night. If by chance we are going to be entertaining our friends till late, we will tell you about it ahead of time.
